FAMILY

Genesis 5:3-5

When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Adam lived 930 years, and then he died.

Life Application Study Bible Notes:

All human beings are related going back to Adam and Eve. Mankind is a family that shares one flesh and blood. Remember this when prejudice enters your mind or hatred invades your feelings. Each person is a valuable and unique creation of God.

Our family of a dozen red roses consists of... Linda (Nama) and Ed (Grandad);

Tammy and Gary, who are the parents of Joey, Breeana, Christopher, and Jeffrey;

and Rob and Lorraine, who are the parents of Brian and Nicolas!

To make it a Baker's Dozen (13), we have the original Rosenbloom who started it all...

In Loving Memory!

Of course, we have many other family members too! Let's see, they are...

Siblings of Linda… Lela Ann, Donna, and Michael… and of course our parents,

Betty and Wade, fondly remembered as Ganny and Pope!

Lela Ann is married to Doc, and they are the parents of Lizbeth and Richard.

Lizbeth is married to Michael, and they are the parents of Griffin and Sterling.

Richard is married to Charlotte, and they are the parents of Lindsay.

Donna is married to Ed, and they are parents of Mary, Patrick, and Helen.

Mary is married to Carlos, and they are the parents of Derek, Natalie, Carlos Jr., and Vanessa.

Derek is the father of Adelisa.

Patrick is married to Chris.

Helen is married to Boyd, and they are the parents of Landon and Justin.

Michael is married to Pam, and they are the parents of Deena, Natalie, and Stephanie.

Deena is married to Micah, and they are the parents of Colin.

Natalie is the mother of (oops... need to get her name).

Stephanie is the mother of Colin.

Sibling of Edward... Rene

Rene is married to Louie, and they are the parents of John and Jennifer.

Of course, we can't forget Grandma Jean who is married to Glen (Papa Pooch),

who are the parents of Rene, Edward, John, and Eric.

And, they are the grandparents of Tammy, Rob, John, and Jennifer,

and the great-grandparents of Joey, Breeana, Christopher,. Jeffrey, Brian, and Nicolas.

In-Laws!

Gary (husband of Tammy) was the only child of Sid and Peggy,

who are fondly remembered as Papa and Grammy.

Lorraine (wife of Rob) has six siblings; Rueben Jr., Darlene, Christine, Michael, Eileen,

and Matthew whose parents are Ruben Sr. (fondly remembered as Grandpa) and Jo Mary.

Ruben is married to Donna, and they are the parents of Little Ruben and Katie.

Darlene is married to Ross, and they are the parents of Gabriella, Daniella, and Mariella.

Christine is married to Eddie, and they are the parents of Faith, Hope, and Love.

Michael is the father of Little Mikey.

Eileen is married to James, and they are the parents of Austin.

Matthew is almost married to Cynthia, and they are the parents of Veronica and Alexia.

ATTENTION!

If I had the energy or the time, and if I still had your attention, I could go on and on and on!

The point is... the ultimate result of our family (and ALL families) takes us back to Genesis,

and I repeat...

All human beings are related going back to Adam and Eve!

Mankind is a family that shares one flesh and blood.

Remember this when prejudice enters your mind

or hatred invades your feelings.

Each person is a valuable and unique creation of God!

Remember this too:

Hell is hot, life is short, death is sure, eternity is long, and there are NO exits in Hell!
